How to take a great photo of
your bike for the 3-d art process
1. Place your bike outside, against a garage door or
other non-busy background (if possible), with the
kickstand down.
2. Straighten your wheel (its ok to have someone behind
your bike holding the wheel straight. We’ll photoshop
them out of the photo!).
3. Bend your knees when aiming your camera so that your
camera is even with the seat.
4. Set your camera to shoot the highest quality photo
you can, then take several digital images of your
beautiful bike (without a flash).
5. Because your photos will be large files (do not
compress them), go to
www.sendthisfile.com to sign up for a free account.
Send your digital photos to us at
cat@catherinerains.com using this free service which
allows you to send very large files.

Make sure they aren't any other bikes behind
yours. Too confusing
to
figure out what is yours and what is theirs

Too dark in
the back of the bike.

Again, too
dark in the back of the bike.

Too much glare
on the tank and headlight.

Again, glare
on the pipe, and helmet on the seat.
